This is a great series with a newcomer at the helm. This is a woman’s film. I was happy to see that the Puget Sound area has a network of places for people who are domestically abused physically and mentally. It also sheds light on mental health problems of the homeless. It is very well written , acted and directed. This maid is very determined to see her daughter protected and cared for. The portrayal of the “maid” is the actual daughter of Andie MacDowell , Margaret Qualley. I know mom must be very proud of her accomplished daughter. Speaking of Andie MacDowell – her portrayal of the Bi Polar mother in the piece is quite accomplished also. It is definitely a stretch from her past work. Accomplished, earthy and over the top.
