This was a fine film with excellent acting by Ms. Theron. I’ve lived in Minnesota. This is an accurate portrayal. There is a lot of despair in Minnesota if not for all, for many. A sad and somewhat disturbing film. But a story worth telling. Ms. Theron’s character is not the only offender in this film. But she does have her problems, but the hope lies in that she acknowledges this. To this character I would say there is a big world out there and changes can happen and life can improve with time.
